OUR PASTOR
Dr. Dale A. Moye, Sr.
Dr. Dale A. Moye, Sr., a native of Woodville, Texas, is the pastor of the Pershing Park Baptist Church located in Killeen, Texas. In January 2020, Pastor Moye celebrated his 32nd anniversary of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ; as well as 26 years in the Pastorate. Pastor Moye has also dedicated the last 28 years to helping people with mental health disorders and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Pastor Moye served the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Woodville, Texas as Pastor from 1991-1999. Pastor Moye also served as the first pastor of the Seed of Faith Family Worship Center in Woodville, Texas from 1999-2011. Pastor Moye was baptized at the age of nine by his grandfather Pastor Ivy Hadnot at the New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist church. Pastor Moye was also licensed to preach at the New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 21 by Pastor Leonard White and ordained in May 1991.
Pastor Moye graduated from Woodville High School in 1984 and graduated from Prairie View A&M University in 1988 with a BA in Social Work. He also graduated from Theological Seminary in Houston, Texas with his Bachelor of Theology and also his Master of Theology degree. Pastor Moye also received an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity due to his work with the community and his dedicated work in the church of Jesus Christ. Pastor Moye continued his education and in 2019 he received his Doctorate of Theology degree from Theological Seminary in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is the husband to the former Sara Ray and father of Dale A. Moye, Jr.
